Mid-sized businesses (MSBs) have turnovers between

£10m - £500m

                              MSBs in the UK make up

                   1% of firms

                              but earn

                    22% of revenue,

                              employ

                    16% of the workforce

                              and generate

                     12% of corporation tax

Between 2002 and 2007

 6% of MSBs

accounted for

60% of MSB job creation

                              Championing MSBs could grow the economy by

 £20bn - £50bn
